AN EXHIBITION WITH SCREENINGS ON THE HISTORY OF THE RAF

I recently learned that the RAF had dissolved not so long ago. It was only in 1998, that a brief statement declaring its end was sent by RAF to Reuters news agency. Terrorist activities and violence nowadays are in the news everyday, and unfortunately seems to worsen day by day. That’s why I think it’s a good idea to visit the exhibition dealing with the history of RAF at Deutsches Historisches Museum starting tomorrow. It will help me to understand how terror evolved here in Germany. On my agenda for early 2015: the screening at Zeughaus Kino (a part of the museum), showing films on this topic by Volker Schlöndorff and Rainer Werner Fassbinder, as well as Christian Petzold’s “The State I Am In” from 2011.
