CONVERSAS — APPROACHABLE DIALOGUES WITH LIKE MINDS

CONVERSAS — APPROACHABLE DIALOGUES WITH LIKE MINDS

It’s easy to get stuck in your daily routine, longing for something new that might change your way of thinking, inspire you or lead to fresh connections. Here to help you break the cycle is Conversas Berlin — a weekly series of open discussions for sharing information and ideas. What started in Lisbon in 2012 has spread to other cities throughout Europe, landing in Berlin in 2016 thanks to organizers Sabrina Basten and Sarie Nijboer. The latest season will run every Wednesday evening until 29.11.17 at Blogfabrik in Kreuzberg. Each session features three different Conversadores (those who talk at Conversas), who bring their latest projects as topics to share with the group for 30 minutes. But this isn’t a one-sided presentation — it’s a conversation, where questions and interruptions are encouraged so both sides can benefit, learn and share. The evening we first attended featured dialogues with a multidisciplinary artist from Poland, a German performance and installation artist, and a graphic and spatial artist from Croatia. The events are free and open to everyone, so there’s no reason not to take part and discover the thought processes of interesting people just like you.
