DRIVE HOSTS: ARS ELECTRONICA IN BERLIN & THIRD LANDSCAPE

For new perspectives on digital encounters and the human environment, we suggest you take a visit to Drive. Volkswagen Group Forum, where two exciting exhibitions are on view until 26 October. The sixth digital media art exhibition at the forum is curated by Ars Electronica, which organizes one of the world’s most important yearly media art festivals in Linz, Austria. This time around, they challenged 14 international artists to focus on the theme of ‘encounters’ and human relationships with technology. From visual research of environmentally affected insects to the invisible sound on electromagnetic waves, the forms take shape to tell a story, deepened by the supporting works of the second exhibition: “Third Landscape”, featuring monochrome photographs by Volker Kreidler. Dive into these varied perspectives, and form your own along the way. (Text: Devan Grimsrud / Photos: Volker Kreidler, Drive. Volkswagen Group Forum)
