STOCUBO: CUBIC BOOKCASES FOR THE CONTEMPORARY HOME

Stocobu, launched in 2000 in a backyard on Berlin’s Torstrasse, designs white bookcases to meet all our literary needs. The name is a play on words of the company’s founding artist: (St)efan (O)berhofer, and cubo (derived from cubos). Today, Stocubo is run by Julia Haneke and is still expanding, without relocating production outside of the capital. All shelves and variations are not only designed in Berlin, but also made here. Dedicated to longevity and resource efficiency, the company makes a point of using only FSC-certified, robust wooden boards, acquired through European manufacturers. Now the company has opened its showroom just around the corner from their production site. Here you can choose your own cubes and make the perfect bookcase to fit your collection.
