FASHION MADE FAIR — A SMART GUIDE TO ETHICAL FASHION

FASHION MADE FAIR — A SMART GUIDE TO ETHICAL FASHION

Although the theme of sustainability is omnipresent in fashion, it’s still hard to define correctly. The definition of the term seems to be vague, such as with many trending buzzwords. Magdalena Schaffrin, the founder of the Greenshowroom for sustainable high end fashion, and journalist Ellen Köhrer have dealt for many years with this subject, and in their newest book they explain the goals of sustainability, and present a welcome sharp focus approach to the topic. With “Fashion Made Fair” (Prestel), they present their guide to the world’s most important and ecologically-friendly fashion labels. With a well-designed combination of large-scale images and in-depth, expert discussions of ethical fashion, it’s not only a decorative book but an informative guide to today’s fashion world.
