I’m sipping on my new favorite smoothie “Randy Sandy” with papaya, wild herbs, cilantro, and goji berries (amongst others) while talking to Nils Bernau, the owner of Liquid Garden. “If a juice isn’t perfect I wouldn’t give it out,” he claims. His personal goal is to provide nothing but top-notch quality juice: cold-pressed for superior tasting, nutrition-packed and almost always based on green ingredients. Hence why only one person: Nils himself, is working in the busy shop, his craft has regulars hooked. Take the morning goers, fueling up with the “Kickstarter”. Or the customers opting for a healthy alternative to the ice cream next door might chose the sweet smoothie “Dr. Snuggles” with raw cocoa and coconut. Salads and other raw foods are also part of the shop’s selection. The crowds traveling from near and far all seem to agree: Liquid Garden is a welcome addition to healthy living in this town.
