LISA KOSAK RECOMMENDS: M|A FEINE KOST

LISA KOSAK RECOMMENDS: M|A FEINE KOST

Tucked in a quiet side street off of Tempelhofer Feld and a new addition to the Kiez scene, m|a Feine Kost is the perfect conclusion (or start) to a walk in the park. The place offers nice coffee, sweet treats and baked goods, but it is above all my go-to when I am looking to share a cheese and cold-cuts board with friends around a bottle of wine (I have a soft spot for the pleasant combination of Morbier cheese, rosemary ham, and Portuguese wine). The counters are filled with well-curated specialties mostly from France and Italy and the host is always happy to help you make the finest selection to fit your mood. The best part about this place? You can take your favorites home! All goods are available to stock your fridge with – a dangerously delicious game of try and buy. They also host bimonthly backgammon tournaments and cocktail nights, of which I recommend for those who find themselves competitively inclined. (Text: Lisa Kosak / Photos: Luke Marshall Johnson)
