OBJEKTE UNSERER TAGE: DESIGN CLASSICS CRAFTED IN GERMANY

Objekte Unserer Tage was founded in 2015 by Christoph Steiger, David Spinner and Anton Rahlwes on the principle that the furniture and objects we surround ourselves with shouldn’t simply exist, but rather adapt to and improve the way we live. Located in Alexanderplatz on the second floor of the ex-GDR “Haus des Reisens” is the label’s flagship store, which — like its furniture — is fresh and carefully considered. Large sheets of latex hang from the ceiling, catching the light and dividing the large room into a dynamic and slightly surreal spaces. Thoughtfully positioned throughout are Objekte Unserer Tage’s creations, all of which are designed in Berlin and manufactured in close collaboration with select suppliers across Germany from premium materials like solid ash wood, Greek marble and Kvadrat fabrics. By constantly rethinking established conventions, the designers combine contemporary aesthetics with skilled German craftsmanship. The result is a collection of unique pieces of furniture and living accessories that perfectly balance form and function, fulfilling desires both practical and aesthetic.
