The queer-feminist sex shop Other Nature is — as emphasized in its name — different from other shops of this caliber. Located on Kreuzberg’s Mehringdamm, this appealingly-appointed space offers everything a feminist’s heart desires. Beyond that, find things that you’ve probably never even heard of. From all-natural sex toys made of birchwood, to lubricant in hazelnut-caramel flavor, to condoms by Einhorn, colorful hemp ropes, and alternative menstrual products, such as the Lily Cup. What really makes this shop stand out, though, is that everything is made from eco-friendly and vegan materials. Sara, the Canadian owner of this rather unusual store, and her team, are there to provide advice and assistance to curious customers. Those who prefer to rummage around by themselves might get lucky in the back room, where DVDs, books, and magazines await.
