As we know, culture is a mainly online affair at the moment, and the web offerings from C/O Berlin are showing just how varied it can be. Normally, Amerika Haus at Bahnhof Zoo is home to exhibits from the upper echelons of contemporary photography, but things have switched up and now the artists are curating the show. For the C/O Berlin Hosts series, every week a different photographer is taking over the house’s Instagram account. Following Stefanie Moshammer, Joel Meyerowitz, Lina Scheynius and Adam Broomberg, Anna-Lena Krause is now set to take over with an exploration of the theme “Longing and Belonging”. From Thursday 14.05.2020 on you can get active yourself with photo and video artist Anja Hitzenberger, who with her workshop Stretch You Creative Muscles! is offering five weeks of input and guidance for your own photo practice. Also coming to your home are some culinary delights: given the gallery cafe’s current closure, food partners Barkin’Kitchenhave designed DIY meal boxes for cooking at home, featuring new seasonal recipes from founders Antonio Rilling and Frederik Jagla. They served us up a lunch package with a fresh cutlet, potato gratin and stuffed peppers, and so with our culinary needs now taken care of, we’re ready for some cultural nourishment.
