With a background in conventional patisserie, Laura Blume’s desire to bake vegan is what led her to open Café Neundrei in 2015. Her Monbijouplatz shop is open for coffee and food to go, and luckily this includes Neundrei’s showstopping vegan cakes, made in house by plant-based patisserie wizard Hana. These baked creations amaze with their looks alone, with delicate floral decorations and fruit and nut garnishes. And with a selection that ranges from the no-bake mango and coconut cheesecake to elegant blackberry and raspberry mousse cakes, the flavors won’t disappoint either. You can drop by the shop to pick up a slice of your choice or send the team an email and get an entire cake made to order. We celebrated Cee Cee’s ninth birthday with a vanilla “cream cheese” and blueberry compote cake topped with blackberries, flowers and herbs and are already looking forward to our next tasty delivery.
