When was the last time you set off to a concert, paddle in hand? For Fortuna Forest, row your own way there. On 30.08.2026, boats set off from Insel der Jugend out onto the Spree, with Maryisonacid and Frankie in tow.
Small boats drift out onto the water from Insel der Jugend, trailing behind a mother ship that becomes a floating stage for the afternoon. Waiting there first is Maryisonacid with a new, hybrid set: ethereal, psychedelic, and pretty hard to pin down. The French-Congolese DJ, curator, and founder of African Acid Is The Future has been part of Berlin’s club scene for years and has played at venues including Panorama Bar and Tresor. Afterward, Frankie, aka Franziska Aigner, brings her cello onto the water. Aigner works at the intersection of philosophy, performance, and music, and has collaborated with the likes of Anne Imhof, William Forsythe, and Austin Jack Lynch.
For an aperitivo along the way, Fortuna Forest has teamed up with Super. The baskets, curated by Chris & Giulia, are filled with canned fish, olives, chips, and other snacks, and can be pre-ordered or bought directly on the boat. If you have your own boat, even better! Otherwise, choose between two rental options on Insel der Jugend, with the boat rental added on top of the concert ticket. Row first, then let yourself drift.
