Three weeks ago we featured a grow kit for little ones. This one here from Grüneo is for the grown-up growers. Many of us in the city don’t have the luxury of space for a garden, and that’s why founders Alicia and Lena put their heads together to develop a garden in a box. With Alicia’s business background and Lena’s horticulture expertise, they have created a kit for indoor windowsill gardening that includes everything you need: substrate, seeds, plant-based fertilizer, pots and sticks – plus a starter guide with easy instructions. There’s the option of a Herb Box with purple basil, parsley, and chives, or a Veggie Box with cherry tomato, red leaf lettuce and multicolour chili for those who enjoy a little spice in their cooking. The boxes are completely organic, plastic-free, vegan and regionally sourced, and once your seeds are fully grown you’ll have produce that’s locally sourced too – right from your windowsill.
