HAND-SELECTED CULINARY SPOTS FOR FESTIVE WINING AND DINING — POWERED BY SQUARESPACE

HAND-SELECTED CULINARY SPOTS FOR FESTIVE WINING AND DINING — POWERED BY SQUARESPACE

What is the festive season if not a time to wine and dine (and munch and brunch)? To keep you full and happy throughout the holidays, we’ve picked four culinary spots that will have you licking your lips and reaching for more. Before you head out into the cold, get a preview of what these tasty places have to offer by visiting their respective websites. Made using Squarespace, the sites include business info, background stories and menus so you can get a foretaste before you turn up. First on the list is Domberger Brot-Werk, the Moabit bakery whose bread keeps it simple: flour, water, salt and sourdough. Their Stollen, which is dipped in butter and coated in sugar after baking, makes an ideal last-minute gift. If you’re after some artisan cheese to slice onto your sourdough, Vom Einfachen das Guteshould be the next place to head. Based in Mitte, this ingredient-focused deli sources its gourmet cheese and charcuterie directly from farmers. The Almkäse cheese, produced in the Austrian alps, is a particularly pungent treat.

If dining out is more your vibe, lunch or dinner with friends at Remi will guarantee you a memorable end-of-year meal. Located in the Suhrkamp publishing house, the open kitchen restaurant serves simple seasonal cuisine with fine dining flair. Finally: some of us go to church at Christmas, others go to 21gramm, the brunch spot housed in a former chapel. A firm Kiez favorite, the cafe is ringing in the New Year with festive brunches on 31.12 & 01.01 featuring pancakes, smoked salmon and bottomless mimosas. These gastro businesses created their websites on Squarespace, which includes ready-to-go templates that let you create a site quickly and easily — so you can spend less time at the computer and more time at the dinner table.
