HIP HOPS — CRAFT BEER BREWER BRLO’S NEW HOME BASE

HIP HOPS — CRAFT BEER BREWER BRLO’S NEW HOME BASE

It’s a bit of a mouthful to pronounce, but did you know that the name of craft brewer BRLO derives from the old Slavic origin of ‘Berlin’? And since December 2016 — two years after its inception — this beer has a place of its own to call home, in a location offering sweeping views of its namesake city. In Park am Gleisdreieck, bar, restaurant, brewery and sociable beer garden unite in a building constructed from 38 shipping containers. The dark metallic interior and dim lighting creates an atmosphere well suited to the wide range of German and international beers on offer — 20 on tap and 40 bottled, with flavor profiles for every mood. But there’s more than just hops and barley to enjoy seated around the chunky wooden tables — a delicious seasonal menu designed around vegetables superbly complements the drinks on offer.
