Today marks the start of Berlin Design Week (12.–22.05.2022), showcasing the freshest approaches to contemporary product design from around the world. If you are a design professional, this year offers a great opportunity in the form of the BCFA Open Berlin pop-up on 17.5. Organized by the British Contract Furnishing Association, the exhibition offers interior designers, buyers and architects the chance to check out designs from some of the most innovative players from the UK commercial interiors sector. Whether your line of work is furnishing high-end hotel rooms or sourcing exclusive artworks for offices, you’ll find plenty of creative stimulus and networking opportunities with leading designers. Hosted at the Alice Rooftop & Garden in Charlottenburg, the event features designs from 20 suppliers, including chairs and tables from Burgess Furniture, artworks from Elegant Clutter and fabrics from Romo, Timorous Beasties and Camira. Besides checking out the exhibits, you can also meet the people behind the designs and enjoy drinks and canapes at the rooftop location. The event is open to industry professionals and entry is free of charge – tickets can be reserved online.
