DECADENT ICE CREAM WITH A PASTEL AMBIANCE AT LECKO’MIO

DECADENT ICE CREAM WITH A PASTEL AMBIANCE AT LECKO’MIO

With one summer season under its belt, Lecko’mio came splashing back onto the Berlin ice cream scene with its re-opening on 08.03.2019. The shop was started in 2018 by Nadja Maßmann, a former graphic designer and photographer, and her eye for design shows throughout the space. The interior is awash with a pastel palette, brass accents, and a crown molding ceiling – the type of place you’ll want to linger in after you’re finished eating. If you’re looking for a quick snack, stop in for a scoop of their family-made ice cream or vegan sorbet in decadent flavors like panna cotta raspberry and white chocolate matcha. If you’re ready to indulge a little more, splurge on their signature Mio sundae or “Spaghettieis” – vanilla ice cream extruded like pasta with a delicious strawberry sauce. The shop manages to remain eco friendly too: All the packaging they use is compostable. Stop by early in the season before the line stretches out the door!
