“Our passion is fashion, but we don’t identify with the industry behind it.” Moeon founders Ester Fröhler and Sonja Lotz are candid about where they stand. And while environmentally-friendly women’s fashion has made real strides in the industry, menswear has a way to go. Enter the duo’s new store Moeon Men, which since March 2020 has been offering lovingly curated menswear with a conscience. Since 2014 Ester and Sonja have pursued a environmentally and socially responsible approach to fashion, resulting in a collection of clothes, shoes and accessories that is constantly expanding, with the likes of Armedangels, Novesta and Nudie Jeans as well as in-house Moeon Studio. As for the garments, how about the Henry organic cotton shorts or the indigo blue worker jacket by Nudie? Or the trainers made from recycled and natural materials by Veja matched with a classic plain Tee from Rotholz?
