NEW BAR AT GRACE — BOOZY BITES FOR A TASTEFUL EVENING

NEW BAR AT GRACE — BOOZY BITES FOR A TASTEFUL EVENING

Fancy cocktails, caviar and creative bites? With “Booze and Bites”, a new bar concept moves into Grace Restaurant & Bar, turning your after-work drink into something special. The focus is on good drinks, small dishes and a casually elegant atmosphere.

Opened in September 2026, the space bears the signature of American interior designer Dayna Lee, who has also designed the Grace Bar, Grace Rooftop and Hotel Zoo Berlin. With her unmistakable style, Lee crafts spaces in the spirit of the roaring twenties — theatrical (in the best way), colorful and eccentric, not unlike the crowd such a space is meant to draw in. There are no fixed tables at “Booze and Bites”, but standing areas and corners to linger in — for evenings that don’t run on a set schedule.

The menu is a condensed, bar-friendly version of what Grace otherwise offers in the restaurant. The “Grace Style” tacos come in a set of three, with a choice of avocado, salmon, lobster, or Kagoshima beef tartare. Alongside that, oysters straight on the rocks, spicy edamame with chili and panko, Chinese cucumber in Chinkiang vinegar, or a beef tartare with nori tempura and miso chimichurri. Portions are deliberately small bites, made for snacking through your after-work debrief or pre-party warm-up. If you show up especially hungry, mains include half a kilo of prawns as well as guinea fowl breast and a Japanese-inspired shari bowl with beetroot, kimchi, truffled rice and a choice of tofu, bluefin tuna, or salmon.

The drinks are the real star of the show. As a special, treat yourself to champagne and caviar right off the menu. On the signature side, classics like the espresso martini or Grace’s Perfect Martini await, alongside standout creations such as the Cutie Cosmorita with coconut espuma or a Hendrick’s Negroni, also available as a Sbagliato or with mezcal. Under Gracy & Sober, you’ll find four special drink creations also offered as mocktails, such as the Pomelo Spritz with grapefruit and basil or the Wildberry Punch with cranberry and lychee. A wine, champagne and spirits list is also on hand, ranging from Chablis to Yamazaki 12Y, in case your night on Ku’damm ends up going a little later than planned.
