NOIZE FABRIK — COLLABORATIVE WORKING FOR AUDIOPHILES

NOIZE FABRIK — COLLABORATIVE WORKING FOR AUDIOPHILES

Co-working spaces have long been a thing in Berlin, though Neukölln’s Noize Fabrik has a little extra up its sleeve. As its name suggests, this venue is not only a collaborative working space for creatives, but very much geared towards music-minded individuals. Housing various soundproof recording studios, the once-empty factory loft was fully transformed to promote Berlin’s audiophile community. Digital production and vocal mixing takes place next door to desks where web developers and video makers work their magic. If you’re not looking for a workspace, come by to listen to a live recording session or chow down at their weekly lunch club Sound Food. On weekends you can also catch a live performance, which in the past has included everything from Berlin street music to contemporary dance performances. (Text: Victoria Centaro)
