When Berlin settles in and turns to the darkness of winter, it’s always the plant lovers that stay positive – surrounding themselves with verdant green leaves in their indoor oases to escape from all that’s cold, wet and gray. Here to help you not only add to your plant collection, but to learn more about how to best take care of your leafy babies, is the new Berlin-based online shop, Plant Circle. With a curated selection of exotic plants — like the lesser known but equally Instagrammable cousin of the ever-popular Monstera delicosa, the Monstera adansonii — founder and fellow plant fanatic Monika Kalinowska is also hosting plenty of events ranging from “How Not To Kill Your Plants” sessions to make-your-own closed terrarium workshops, even community oriented plant swap parties (the next one will take place on 12.11.17, check Facebook for details). Plant Circle’s one of a kind monthly plant subscription box will launch soon, but in the meantime we’ll be browsing their exotic offers and getting to know other Berlin plant parents at events and online in Plant Circle’s “What’s wrong with my plant?
