REFINERY HIGH END: A SPECIALTY COFFEE STORE FOR EVERYONE

REFINERY HIGH END: A SPECIALTY COFFEE STORE FOR EVERYONE

Down one of the busiest streets in Kreuzberg, across from Gorlitzer Bahnhof, sits the second branch of one of our favorite coffee shops for a mid-afternoon or early morning sip ‑ Refinery Coffee. While their original location in Mitte is a bustling hub for great food made in house and delicious high end coffees (of course), their new concept store hopes to break the barrier between baristas and coffee lovers by serving as a specialty “try before you buy” shop – where the team can prepare free individual mini-cuppings on the spot to help you learn more about the beans, where they come from, and what they taste like. With specialty coffees from leading international multi-roasters like London’s Caravan Coffee Roasters, Copenhagen’s April Coffee Roasters,  and Oslo’s Tim Wendelboe (exclusively at Refinery in Berlin) plus a selection of tempting pastries — the store stands out, acting like a gallery for coffee beans. It’s about time to learn more about your favorite beverage, and Refinery presents the perfect place for you to do it. (Text: Devan Grimsrud / Photos: Auste Skrupskyte)
