SAWADE — DECADENT TREATS FROM A CLASSIC BERLIN CHOCOLATIER

SAWADE — DECADENT TREATS FROM A CLASSIC BERLIN CHOCOLATIER

Spicy ginger truffles covered in milk chocolate, the finest dark chocolate marzipan with hazelnut crunch or sweet and velvety pistachio nougat wrapped in milk chocolate – you’d want this list of mouthwatering delicacies to go on forever, and at Sawade, it almost does. Established in 1880 and produced locally in Reinickendorf, Sawade is the city’s oldest chocolatier, creating the most exquisite chocolate and truffle specialties from only the finest ingredients. But it’s not only the content that is seductive: the elegant packaging makes it a unique gift for loved ones. Pair a divinely nutty nougat box with a porcelain cup by the Royal Porcelain Factory Berlin KPM and surrender to the delights of coffee and chocolate in the afternoon. You can’t get any more local than that! Sawade is available online and in selected retailers, as well as at their three storefronts in Mitte, Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf.
