This Sunday, the French cellist Séverine Ballon will give a live concert at Me Collectors Room, alongside the ongoing exhibition “Cindy Sherman – Works from the Olbricht collection”. It’s the launch event for her new and first solo album “Solitude”, by composers Mauro Lanza and Thierry Blondeau. The concert includes melodies that are a mixture of classical cello and electronic music, as well as video visual performances. Additionally, Séverine will be playing two extra pieces by the Berlin-based composers Wolfgang Heiniger and Aaron Einbond. It’s a fantastic and unique chance to see an incredibly talented artist at work. Moreover, if you haven’t yet seen the Cindy Sherman exhibition, which includes 65 photographs from different periods of her career, then you can combine both and celebrate two successful female artists coming together in the same room.
