With Berlin Fashion Week FW19 upon us, the new year is officially in full swing. From 15.-18.1.2019, some of the city’s most exciting locations will be abuzz with a flurry of VIP MBFW runway shows from the likes of Odeeh, Maisonnoée and newcomer Danny Reinke. Trade shows include Seek, which turns 10 this year, and Neonyt, a hub for sustainable fashion innovation. While select events are invite-only, plenty are open to the public. Kicking off the schedule is the Dandy Diary opening party on 14.1.2019, which takes on a “Kid’s Birthday” theme. The chic Projekt Galerie designer sample sale at Charisschwarz, held throughout the week (14.-20.1.2019, 11-21h) promises many a stylish bargain, and on 18.1.2019 there’s “Knothingelse than Art“, a unique art installation & performance event at Kus Kultur-Späti bringing together body painter and artist Robin Slonina, dancer Dario Rigaglia and designer Layla De Mue. Can’t get enough? Stop by Berlin-based brand Nobi Talai’s pop-up at KaDeWe running from 11.1.-16.2.2019. Here‘s the full schedule.
