STYLE ON PRESCRIPTION: THE NEW RICHERT BEIL STORE

STYLE ON PRESCRIPTION: THE NEW RICHERT BEIL STORE

This pharmacy offers healing, at least for anyone searching for a particular style that has become shorthand for Berlin itself: all-black, edgy, gender-neutral.

Since 2014, designers Jale Richert and Michele Beil have been experimenting with silhouettes and materials under their label Richert Beil, deconstructing old forms and building new classics in their place. The blazers, shirts, coats, jeans and accessories fit anyone looking to channel the free spirit of these collections.

In the summer of 2026, Richert Beil opened their first standalone store in a former pharmacy in Kreuzberg. The space doubles as a showroom, atelier, and workplace for the entire team. But above all, it’s an interdisciplinary space. A place of encounter that also offers a stage to other creatives, provided their projects align with the brand’s philosophy.

Food is set to play a role too, the thinking being that it’s assembled from many ingredients, much like fashion, and when done right, the result is just as perfect. There’s a well-equipped kitchen on-site, along with plans to serve gluten-free soul food, quite possibly straight out of the window. The pharmacy is a project in motion, a place that keeps creating new possibilities… like tracking down the perfect coat for winter, for instance.
