STINE SACHSE RECOMMENDS: LE MARIGNY

STINE SACHSE RECOMMENDS: LE MARIGNY

Stepping into Le Marigny, you feel like you’re in the cooler and younger version of the TV series “Allo Allo”. From the original French industrial lamps, white tiles, and old wooden church benches to the shrine of the French comedian Louis de Funès, it definitely gives you the feeling of being right in the heart of a lively, soulful bistro. With the host and the chef being a real team of comedians welcoming and entertaining the guests, Le Marigny embodies the ambiance that combines modern and international vibe with a familiar local feel. Their simple yet quality menu reflects the same authentic approach; offering delicately presented classic dishes like tartar, coq au vin, goat cheese salad and the house specialty Marigny steak sandwich. For dessert, there are variations of cheese or cakes, not to mention a very nice selection of wine – everything at a very reasonable price. Go on a Sunday evening when you long for your home away from home, and aren’t quite ready to bring your weekend to an end.
