THE BERLIN FASHION SUMMIT — AN ONLINE CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE OF FASHION

Sustainability in fashion: it’s an enduring topic of conversation. And while a lot of progress has been made in recent years, there’s still much room for improvement. Fashion Week Berlin (14-20.03.2022) provides an opportunity to find out just what has to change. With shows by local and global brands, this year’s FW offers visual inspiration as well as a lot of intellectual input, not least at the 202030 Symposium – The Berlin Fashion Summit. The aim of this online event is to strengthen ties between fashion, science and politics in order to boost this transformation. The three-day program includes panels and critical conversations with experts such as Aras Baskauskas from brand Christy Dawn, Prof. Dilys Williams from the Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion and Renana Krebs from eco-friendly fabric developer Algaeing.

The conference is all about “Regenerative Sustainability” and will welcome Berlin-based players such as Circular.Fashion and Rebound Stuff, offering fashion fiends exciting insights and inspiration. With this program, FW is not just about spotting new favorites for the season, but questioning your own consumer behavior and getting a glimpse of fashion’s sustainable future.
