A brief warning: If you like surprises, then you will love this concept! Tucked away in a side street just off the hustle and bustle of Neukölln’s Sonnenallee, there is a wonderful little hideout for anyone looking to get away from it all. At first, The Conscious Clublooks like a small boutique dedicated to beautifully handcrafted products. Nothing unusual for Berlin. But take a second look, and the boundaries between shop, studio and workshop slowly begin to disappear, revealing something totally unique for lovers of locally-made home accessories, hand embroidery on fabrics and garments, and illustrations brought to paper by delicate watercolor. TCC is the brainchild of Stefanija Pejchinovka (Damaja), Denise Zimmer (Kunstzimmer Berlin), Larissa Reuter (Hetti) and Kristina Hellhake (Compose Relations). More than just a workspace and storefront, TCC also serves as a platform to connect with kindred spirits in the trade and to find out about similar sustainable projects.
