With independent brands from across Europe, Argot Life Store is a tiny new shop that we’ve fallen head over heels for. Landing in Berlin in April 2017 from Edinburgh, owners Alli and Jarred wanted to make their dream of owning a retail store come true and knew that Berlin was the perfect place to make their new business, and home. With a range of carefully selected products, from London’s Fellowstead hand poured candles to Ocelot Chocolate from Edinburgh, every piece found in Argot is there for a reason. Allie and Jarred curated the store’s offerings together, mixing classic items they knew and loved with more recent finds from their travels. While it’s highly thought out, it’s accessible, with products that appeal to both men and women. As you walk through the small shop you’re filled with an understanding — connecting with the store and owners through the pieces you see. This unspoken awareness feels like a secret you share with Alli and Jarred — that’s what they love about their shop, and it’s what why we love it, too.
