FASHION, OYSTERS & OFFBEAT MUSIC — YOUR BERLIN AGENDA FOR THE COMING DAYS

FASHION, OYSTERS & OFFBEAT MUSIC — YOUR BERLIN AGENDA FOR THE COMING DAYS

Autumn is here, but that doesn’t mean you have to hole up at home. On the contrary — plenty is going on outside and Berlin is showing us that even the cooler days can be hot. From 25.-28.09.2024, you can visit The Room Antwerp‘s pop-up at the Circle Culture gallery. The Belgian brand, known for its timeless designs with a unique twist, does away with seasonal collections so their pieces remain relevant for years. On Thursday and Friday, Aeris Cocktails and Herrlich Dining are hosting a pop-up dinner at Casa Camper. The minimalist, elegant ambiance with its large windows offers the perfect atmosphere for a casual dinner. Herrlich Dining, known for creative, informal dining experiences, combines fresh and regional ingredients to create a special menu, accompanied by drinks from Aeris. In another part of the city, things are getting critical. Berlin’s increasing pressure on space is undeniable, and the group exhibition “Under Pressure” explores just that. It presents perspectives on space, architecture and urban politics. The artists and architects of Adalbert Neun address displacement and the transformation of urban space.

The vernissage starts on Friday (27.09.) at 19h. If you want to make the most of the weekend, this Friday, Volk will be offering seafood and live music from Das Alien Quartett. With their unusual mix of freak jazz, anti-folk and deep blues, the band creates a special vibe that will transport you to Paris. Then, Thai Noods is back with a new pop-up, this time, very different from what the name suggests: without Noods on the menu. Instead, you can expect Thai bites that pair perfectly with autumn, and natural wine — served in the cozy The Rad. The bar is small and fills up quickly, so reserve a seat! And then the weekend is over, but the week also has a lot in store. Next Monday (30.09.) is the vernissage of the exhibition “The Song Nobody Knows” at Backhaus Projects. The creative space offers local and international artists the opportunity to realize their visions. Artist Anna Lea Schmitt will be exhibiting her ceramic sculptures, which combine the beautiful with the grotesque and reinterpret siren myths from a feminist perspective. The vernissage will also be accompanied by a vocal performance. And of course we highly recommend the diverse Coffee Week program.
