As a former French colony, it’s no surprise to find baguettes in Vietnamese kitchen. They started to fill the French classic with fresh and spicy local food and the Banh Mi sandwiches were born. After returning from a trip to Hanoi, the three Berliners, Paul, Moritz and Moritz couldn’t forget the Vietnamese street food. They found a new mission: spread the word (and taste) about Banh Mi in Germany. Soon they started their first ever Banh Mi deli in Germany (in Kreuzberg) and recently the new one in Mitte opened up. Here’s where you can taste the most delicious Banh Mi, quick and fresh, made on the spot. If you don’t like to eat too much bread – their soups and salads alone are worth a visit! P.S. The Kreuzberg deli will re-open on October 22.
