It’s not hard to find a burger in Berlin. But the best, without a doubt, are found at Shiso Burger. Just why that is isn’t so easy to describe. Take my favorite, the Chili Lemon Burger. Juicy Angus meat, cheddar cheese, lime mayo, coriander and crisp salad combine in a taste adventure that only the experience itself can do justice. From the first bite, you’ll wish it would never end. The atmosphere is vibrant and cool, the staff friendly and helpful. If you get a glance in the kitchen, you’ll see they’ve got it well under control, remaining relaxed even at the height of the hustle and bustle. Waiting for your food with a coke or pineapple-mint shake, a smart selection of hip-hop glides overhead, lifting everyone’s mood. And from Monday to Saturday between 12 and 5pm, if you find yourself that extra bit hungry, they also offer a combo deal: 3€ to add homemade fries and a soft drink to your burger.
