It doesn’t look like t-shirt weather just yet, so here’s something to keep you cozy: Berlin-based fashion brand Souvenir Official has teamed up with Dutch streetwear label Daily Paper to design a limited edition hoodie. Decorated with a variety of stars and symbols from different African flags, the garment is a reminder of the power of connecting communities and expressing identity, culture and togetherness. It follows Souvenir Official’s EUnify collection that launched in 2017 and featured the design of a broken EU flag as a call to action during the Brexit era. For its part, Daily Paper has cultivated a community of multidisciplinary creatives who celebrate their backgrounds and inspire garments that reflect diaspora culture. The hoodie is available now online or if you fancy doing some shopping IRL you can head down to the Souvenir’s Giftshop on 22.04 (14-20h) for a special Earth Day celebration in collaboration with Holla Botanics. They’ll be displaying some special floral installations alongside sips courtesy of Nature’s calling.
