THE BEGINNING OF THE END — WELCOMING WINTER WITH RICHARD, RADIO & RACLETTE

THE BEGINNING OF THE END — WELCOMING WINTER WITH RICHARD, RADIO & RACLETTE

November is tipping into the pre-holiday season, and the CC Calendar is leaning into all things delicious and eventful — between magazine pages, club-kiosks, radio waves, and melting raclette. Here’s what’s worth your time this weekend. At KVOST, the first highlight of the week appears in printed and bound form: Solomiya. The Ukrainian magazine celebrates the launch of its fifth issue, After Now, this Thursday (27.11.2025). Natalia Martynenko will speak with editors and contributors about how the issue came together and the big questions behind it. You’ll also find photographic works on view and a live set by Udda — bass-heavy, but sensually experimental. Time to cozy up: further north in Mitte, things get familial (and fancy), as the Forma Gallery Market fills the courtyard on Auguststraße with a mix of craft, design, and fine things this weekend (28–29.11.). Among the contributors are objects by Juliana Maurer, jewelry by Kiki Dieterle, and irresistible pralines by Pars. In Gesundbrunnen, the festivities start early. On Saturday (29.11.), the new mowe Festivalintroduces itself with a live radio show in collaboration with Cashmere Radio. Expect live acts, conversations on urban culture, a first look at the festival premiere in 2026, and details about the open call. The performance-filled evening program follows shortly after. Location: Studio.dB. Just a few steps down Pankstraße, Klub Maison is reinventing the kiosk — one that promises even more dreamy holiday flair. On Saturday (29.11.), the La Boum X-Mas Kiosk pops up, perfect for strolling, browsing, and gift-finding. Expect colorful pieces by Italo Feelings, glass-bead accessories from Kroon02, and new candles by Luce! Next up: opulent Advent vibes, Kreuzberg-style.

Feasts of Eden, known for beautifully arranged grazing tables (yes, the enormous sharing spreads), is hosting its first Christmas Pop-up on Saturday (29.11.). And it’s going to be a feast. There will be a cocktail bar, a raclette station (yes, really), coffee by August63, and a curated gift shop. Guten Appetit! We’re staying in the neighborhood: on the first Sunday of Advent (30.11.), Fyt Wine invites you to Richard Bistro for a small artisan wine fair called Overcooked. And they’ll be doing what Berlin has become very good at: pouring natural wine. You can sample bottles from around 30 producers, including El Regreso, Carrousel de Tête, and Drink Wine Not Labels. If you prefer to start the contemplative season on a savory note, stop by the Advent Market (30.11.) from Aerde and Monu. Waiting for you: fermented potato waffles, elderberry sauerkraut, winter poultry specialties, homemade mulled wine, and jars to take home. And next Sunday, they’ll do it all again. Repeat, eat, and happy weekend!
