Sophie and her boyfriend Hannes had the same problem with third wave coffee; they would end up crammed in a tiny shop for ten minutes only to rush out of the door with a take-away cup. Their solution to the constant hustle? Distrikt Coffee, which they opened together in December 2014. They stand out by prioritizing not only the coffee but all round drinking experience which includes the beautiful interior design and great selection of foods. Outdoor seating allows you to soak up the summer, while cozy leather sofas and exposed brick walls keep you warm together with the soups and hot drinks during the winter. The varied menu reflects their welcoming attitude; try the spiced bean and sourdough vegan dish, a healthy açai bowl, or perhaps indulge yourself with their outstanding American-style pancakes.
