MAKE YOUR OWN LOCALLY-GROWN BOUQUETS — WORKSHOPS AT THE MARSANO FLOWER GARDEN

MAKE YOUR OWN LOCALLY-GROWN BOUQUETS — WORKSHOPS AT THE MARSANO FLOWER GARDEN

How can the flower business become more sustainable? One way is to grow local, and here the Slow Flower florists at Marsano are showing the way with their very own flower garden. Initiated in 2019 by “flower farmer” Paz and her team as a crucial first step towards sustainability, the garden is home to beautiful dahlias, impressive amaranth, delicate poppies and many more seasonal blooms. Last Saturday we were allowed to cut our favorite flowers ourselves at the first My Garden Workshop, where we were amazed at the variety and luminosity of the flowers and the yield produced by the small garden. Under the guidance of experts, we carefully arranged our floral finds in vessels made by the team themselves. The next workshop is on Saturday(19.09.2020) and includes delicious food, expert know-how and great company. You will go home well-grounded and with the knowledge you need to realize your late summer floral dreams. P.S. workshops on more topics and hopefully a whole flower field will follow!
