A SPACE FOR REAL PROGRESS: BACK2BACK — RECOMMENDED BY SEBASTIAN TROJAND

Between training trends and online workouts, it’s easy to lose sight of what matters in sports: good coaching. Back2Backbrings exactly that. Founded by Andi and Jamal, the gym combines modern knowledge of biomechanics, rehab, and sports science. It’s human, well-founded and fun. Jamal has a background in strength training and boxing. Andi brings experience from competitive and rehabilitation sports, underpinned by biomechanical know-how from medical technology, with a station at the Charité. Their promise? A space for honest training, at eye level — without volume, without pressure, without ego. I was able to experience this concentrated expertise firsthand when Andi spent three months preparing me for the Berlin half marathon. Whether it was strength training, running technique, plyos, nutrition or that little twinge in my knee, I’ve never felt so holistically and individually supported. The enormous progress I made almost became a secondary benefit. B2B offers 1:1 personal training, rehab-oriented programs such as “Bridging the Gap”, and (new to the range) its online training plan for anyone looking for structure but wants to train independently. The gym sees itself as an open platform for the Berlin running and cycling community, with regular events, exchange, and a real learning space for exercise, health, and performance. Back2back is warmly recommended to anyone who cares about good exercise.
