It’s about time we throw out the winter clothes from the closet so that the newly created empty space can now be filled with fresh spring fashion. Here’s a label that’ll help you make a perfect start, not just because it’s called August, but because of the intense color range from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The brand by Magdalena Kohler and Josephin Thomas was founded in 2011 and is menswear only, focusing on relaxed yet stunning styles including t-shirts and woven tops, sweaters and bomber jackets. Their new collection called “Linear Poetry”, inspired by the seams of quilts and patchworks, comes with hand-printed batik wax prints available in a wide range of color. If this sounds too crafty, their sharp block stripe pattern is a perfect antithesis.
