Cold days call for great screenings – a documentary about young skaters and artists in Post-Soviet Georgia, to be specific. Created by Salome Machaidze, Tamuna Karumidze, and David Meskhi, the 80-minute movie is a story of teenagers breaking free from their country’s bleak conditions, and creating their own world of friendship, freedom, and dreams. The first public screening after being presented at more than 30 film festivals worldwide, When the Earth Seems to be Light will be shown at Babylon cinema in Georgian with English subtitles, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
