WORKSHOP WITH JEPPE HEIN: SINGING BOWL ART

WORKSHOP WITH JEPPE HEIN: SINGING BOWL ART

Plans for next Saturday (4.3.17)? How about creating your own painting under the guidance of an acclaimed Berlin artist at a gallery set in a castle? As far as workshops go, this one’s pretty special — and we’re giving two readers the chance to take part for free. In a two hour session, you’ll work with color, sound and vibration to create an art piece with singing bowls under the guidance of Jeppe Hein, who was inspired by traditional Thai singing bowl rituals on his travels. The workshop is held at ZKR – Centre for Art and Public Space, located in a restored 1868 castle in Schlosspark Biesdorf. The two 15-participant sessions, held at 10h and 13h, will both be held in German. Take a look at what’s in store here. We think it’ll be an experience to remember.
