GORKI APARTMENTS: TEMPORARY HOME FOR HIGH-BROW TRAVELERS

GORKI APARTMENTS: TEMPORARY HOME FOR HIGH-BROW TRAVELERS

Here’s a new name to drop when recommending places to stay in Berlin: Gorki Apartments. Perfectly located on Weinbergsweg in Mitte, the 35 apartments offer a personal and eclectic atmosphere. The interior design by Franco-German Sandra Pauquet in collaboration with Kim Wang is based on classics and flea market objects combined with exclusively made items such as the pillow cases by a fashion brand Odeeh. Beautiful rental bikes by the Finnish brand Pelago are complementary. Each apartment has its own door bell with a fictitious identity to secure anonymity and a personal mailbox offers a touch of home away from home. If your budget allows, supersize your view from one of the two penthouses featuring rooftop terraces. Makes me wanna book a trip from Neukölln to Mitte overnight. (Text: Nina Trippel)
