Berlin brands, small collectives (and their closets) reveal everything that fits between a soy paste steak sandwich and blue printing techniques this weekend. Here are our CC Calendar tips for this weekend. Friday afternoon (18.07.) in Schöneberg, Two Gather and Perhaps are meeting at Café Tonton for a special culinary after-work date. “All Good Things” is the name of the pop-up, and the name says it all. They serve sandwiches from Seoul, Yakgwa cinnamon cookies, and an oolong apricot fizz that tastes like a vacation in a glass. It’s worth coming early! If you’re strolling through Mitte in the next few days and have a flair for fashion, plan a stopover in Linienstraße. The sample sale by A Kind Of Guise is returning and will be back for the whole weekend (18.-20.07.2025). The Munich label has the finest textiles and patterns with history — wearable craftsmanship, if you will. Discover a colorful range of their classics and favorite pieces on site. And while we’re on the subject of special pieces, on Saturday (19.07.), it’s worth taking a look at Summer Kiosk‘s colorful assortment. There, Rayas will be presenting her latest basket models, perfect for a visit to the market or simply functional eye candy. Tie and hang your personal pearl necklace on the spot. Cute! Friends of the house, such as Helka Ceramics, Luce and Italo Feelings, will also be there. Kasuteira will provide matcha creations, drinkable or as sweet desserts. Meeting point: Klub Maison. But back to the closets.
If you’re looking for fashion with personality, the first Closet Sale at Soap Shop is the place for you. On Saturday (19.07.) there’ll be a collective clear-out. Five fashion muses from Berlin, including Fiyori, Kicki Yang Zhang and Ruby Howes, will take over the vintage store in Muskauer Straße: special items, favorite basics, and their fashion visions to try on, take home, and be inspired by. From Saturday (19-20 July), Panke Open Studios will bring together three key studio locations: the Uferhallen, the Gerichtshöfe, and the Atelierhaus Chausseestraße 48. For two days, the quarter along the Panke will become a stage, and a place for dialogue, with open studios, insights into artistic processes, and creative exchange between the neighborhood and artists. The result is a multifaceted event and a lively cultural trail through Berlin waiting to be discovered. For an artistic end to the weekend, get out of the city and into the blue. Berlin Blueprints invites you to a cyanotype workshop on Sunday (20.07.) at the Wehrmühle Biesenthal. A technique that is as wonderfully simple as it is fascinating, using the power of the sun. The afternoon of printing will be led by Anna Falck-Ytter, otherwise known as one of the creative communication minds at KW. She prints whatever the enchanted garden around the Wehrmühle has to offer: blossoms, twigs, and other found objects. If you’re still unsure about your choice of colors for the weekend, Berlin offers the whole palette, maybe you don’t have to decide.
