Fancy a (semi) spontaneous classical concert? How about this coming Monday (20.02.2023), when students and alumni of the Barenboim-Said Academy will be playing a benefit concert at the Pierre Boulez Saal. It’s all for a good cause: ticket sales will go towards the victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. In addition, there will be small concerts on three afternoons in the foyer of the Barenboim-Said Academy featuring compositions from the Middle East. All proceeds will go to the Emergency Earthquake Relief run by the German Red Cross. Good music for a good cause? Count us in.
