Watching the city from above is a nice thing to do basically wherever you go. Besides going to Berlin’s famous sights with a view such as Goldelse and the TV tower at Alex, you could also go up the stairs of Rathaus Neukölln. The tower doesn’t look all that impressive at 68m, but still offers a great view over Neukölln’s roofs’ all the way to Potsdamer Platz and Teufelsberg. For just one Euro and without having to wait in line, this excursion is a must – not only when your friends come visit, but for Berlin residents too.
