ADVENT WREATHS MADE WITH PLANTS FROM THE FOREST

ADVENT WREATHS MADE WITH PLANTS FROM THE FOREST

It started a few years back in a garden during a friend’s birthday party; three girls, Katja Wolters, a cartographer, Hanni Pannier, an illustrator, and photographer Anne Schwalbe made various floral head wreaths for their fellow guests. Since then, their passion has turned into a tradition. Wherever the trio spends time together, they turn the untamed blossoms and greens into beautiful and wild arrangements. Since the weather stayed pretty mild this fall season, the three girls have enjoyed a wide range of plants to choose from in the Berlin hinterland: not only rose hip, ivy, coiled tendrils, but also twigs covered in moss, pine cones, and of course mistletoe. This Christmas season, dress your dining table with their Advent wreath to impress. (Text: Milena Kalojanov / Photos: Anne Schwalbe)
