Immerse yourself in the world of unfinished and unreleased film projects with the book presentation of Film Undone. International artists and editors will share insights and discussions on their creative processes. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the stories behind unrealized films and how they have taken shape in other media. If you haven’t managed to visit the disused Tegel Airport, you’ll have the opportunity to do so this weekend. The Turbulence Crew invites you to a free summer rave. The open-air space, once a freight canteen, will be transformed into a backdrop for art, music and workshops. In addition to beats from In2Stellar and Orange Drift, there will be food and drinks. Free tickets are available via Resident Advisor.
If you’re in the mood for an indulgent yet relaxing evening, fresh oysters and chilled wine await you on the terrace of Neukölln’s U Bar, bringing the Côte d’Azur to the city center. The Monopol creative hub is hosting a spontaneous flea market organized by artist Ryoji Homma. The former fuel factory is now a creative center housing over twenty artist studios. Discover handmade artworks, fashion and accessories with Homma. Accompanied by BBQ, beer and live DJs, browse in a relaxed atmosphere (or sell your items for a small fee). To round off the weekend, head to Estelle for an evening of spaghetti vongole, antipasti and classic Italian dolci — accompanied, as always, by wines and creative cocktails. Summer in Berlin is full of exciting experiences, whatever the weather.
