THE M+ PROJEKT ARTSPACE LANDS IN BERLIN WITH LUIGI PRESICCE

The M+ Projekt artspace has been providing the denizens of Munich with a thought-provoking series of humanistic-focused exhibitions since 2015, offering artists from around the world the opportunity to enter a dialogue with the city. Now the project is gracing Berlin with its point of view for 3 months. The temporary program kicks off next Wednesday (26.04.17) with the opening of Luigi Presicce’s exhibition “Nostalgia del Futuro”, which sees the Italian artist go against the grain of the current scene’s future focus to re-embrace his country’s rich and varied classical art heritage. Paintings imbued with symbolism are presented in amongst mystic sculptures cast in bronze and finished in white talc. Don’t miss your chance to see this expressive artist bring the classical into the contemporary, gaze turned towards the divine. A portion of the funds raised from works sold will go towards Christoph Schlingensief’s charity organization Operndorf Afrika. (Text: Anna Dorothea Ker / Photos: c/o Brigitta Horvat)
