THURSDAY NIGHT DRINKS AND (SWEET) BITES — PARS APERITIVO EVENINGS AT CUL DE SAC BAR

The pralines from Pars are so beautiful you might not even realize they’re edible. But edible they are – and delicious too. At least that was my reaction when I first encountered these chocolates at a party back when Kristiane Kegelmann was getting her confectionery business off the ground. Since then Pars chocs can be found in KaDeWe’s legendary “Die Sechste” food hall and at a dedicated shop on Kreuzberg’s Schönleinstraße, establishing Kegelmann and her team as permanent fixtures on Berlin’s gastronomy scene. That’s especially true this summer, when along with friends, artists and the who’s who of the city’s bars and kitchens, Pars are inviting you to enjoy drinks and bites at the Cul de Sac bar. Running for eight Thursdays starting tonight (18.08.2022), the series will see the menu and partners change, but the collaborations, location and good vibes stay constant. Tonight Caique Tizzi will be bringing bites that, like the pralines, will be (almost) too beautiful to eat, with Sips taking care of the wine. In the weeks to come they’ll be joined by the likes of Nature’s CallingFish Klub, food writer Ursula Heinzelmannand sommelier Emilie Holdsworth from Frieda. You don’t need a reservation – just drop in from 17h for an Italian style aperitivo. Chin chin.
