The people behind Neue Odessa Bar, one of my favorite bars in Berlin, are launching their latest project tonight: Crémant bar/nightclub “Le Chat Gris”. Located on the ground floor of the uncanny black “Monolith” building on Rosa-Luxemburg Platz, the open space of the bar feels airy with its floor-to-ceiling windows yet cosy with its classic and elegant interior design. The moment I stepped in I’ve recognized the connection with the Neue Odessa Bar; attention to detail that begins with the careful selection of their glasses to special ice cubes, and beautiful hand made spiral parquet dance floor to decorative wooden wall mounts. The bar will be open every night from 17h and the club downstairs only on the weekends with various DJs.
